Teaching on Ancient Domination & Sex Rituals - Stream 4 (11 am - 1 pm)

Anne O Nomis spent four years tracing the ancient history of domination within the world's museums and libraries, following a year long dungeon internship as a "switch" - learning domination arts. What she uncovered was rituals linked to the sex Goddess of Mesopotamia, named Inanna, with texts referring to rituals featuring punishment, pain, transformation in cross-dressing, and driving cathartic release in participants. People of what "non-normative" gender identity received a special place within the Goddess's cult.

The major annual ritual of the year, the Quršu sex ritual featured the Goddess participate in rituals of bathing and beautification, with the setting up of a ritual bed, for a "fucking ritual" in which the female desires and demands her vulva to be filled, in sacred sex songs, followed by feasting and revelry. With a Masters degree in archaeology, Anne presents the hidden sacred roots of domination and the ancient "fucking ritual" called "the quršu".

Teaching on Corporal Punishment: Tradition & Practice  Stream 6  (4.30 - 6.30 pm)

Corporal punishment had a long tradition in domination. Anne has documented the earliest historical references and artwork of the "Female Flagellant" Dominatrix, also known as the Whipstress, the School-Mistress or Governess (said with a wink) whose role it was to chastise and punish her naughty (adult) pupils, or prisoner, in specialized chambers set up for purpose.Although the names and titles have changed over the years, such as the term "cully" for the submissive receiver of the punishment, the form of corporal punishment follows a similar tradition and rhythm. Anne will describe the history and nature of that tradition, with artwork, literary references, and the implements of that tradition - from birches, to flogger, to cat o' nine tails, to the Scottish tawse and cane.
