The energetic Star W. aka Babydoll (of Demasque magazine) contacted me quite a time back, to feature in a forum panel on Kink & BDSM Education held at Club Voltaire, North Melbourne on Sunday 7 July 2024, from 2-4 pm.
I do my best to get behind community history and education events where and when they occur locally, and so agreed to this panel role to share knowledge with the community. The panellists are something of a "Who's Who" of Melbourne educators, which I am honoured to be headlined in.

FETISH FORUM VI: On Kink Education
Examining the ways that education surrounding BDSM, kink and fetish education has evolved, is currently delivered and how they may expand going into the future. Panelists will speak from personal and professional experience across a range of expertise, including: providing educational spaces for community, providing opportunities for educational workshops for community, conducting academic research on and for the BDSM, fetish and kink communities, and more.

ABOUT THE FETISH FORUM 2024
A series of six panel-style seminars focussed on expanding education within the alternative sexual / queer communities to be held on the each first Sunday of the month across February to July in Melbourne in 2024. Each seminar event is to focus on a differing topic that relates to all things under the umbrella of BDSM, kink and fetish interests and lifestyles.
Each seminar aims to provide an inclusive and informative platform for discussing various aspects of each of the discussion topic(s) whilst bringing together a diverse panel of experts, advocates and practitioners who will join in conversation around the topic(s) that they are positioned within. The seminars open up an opportunity for audiences to experience a new type of informed education and critical thinking on their own journeys within BDSM, kink and fetish.
To be hosted by Star W. (BDes, MArC) AKA Babydoll, producer and publisher of Demasque Magazine, in accompaniment with a highly curated selection of 4-6 panelists per topic who will join in conversation around the topic that they are sitting within.
